Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 5 September 2026
Shaza Aesthetics wants everyone who visits this website to be able to use it, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We have built this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we have done
- Every page can be navigated and used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator at all times.
- A "skip to main content" link is provided so keyboard and screen reader users can bypass repeated navigation.
- Text and background colours throughout the site meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required for normal text.
- All meaningful images and uploaded photos require descriptive alternative text, set by us when the image is added.
- Forms have clearly associated labels, helpful error messages, and do not rely on colour alone to convey meaning.
- The site respects your operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
- Headings are structured in a logical order to support screen reader navigation.
- The site is built with semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) throughout.
